Deerfield Business Park – 34-204-800-000-005-13
Request to zone 34-204-800-000-005-13 (sometimes known as 1755 Harwood Road) into the T Technology Innovation Business District
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The City of Ionia Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 4:30 PM, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at City Hall, 114 N. Kidd Street, Ionia, MI 48846, to receive comments on zoning 34-204-800-000-005-13 (sometimes known as 1755 Harwood Road) into the T Technology Innovation Business District. The request to assign a zoning district is needed to redevelop this formerly state owned property into a high-technology business park.
At the conclusion of the Public Hearing, the Planning Commission may take action on the request.
The proposed rezoning would be enacted through Ordinance Number 597 - Deerfield Business Park Zoning (PDF) which may be reviewed at City Hall during regular business hours. Comments regarding the request may be offered at the Public Hearing or provided to the Assistant City Manager and City Clerk, Jonathan Bowman, at the City Hall address listed above or via e-mail at jbowman@ci.ionia.mi.us prior to the Public Hearing.
