CITY OF IONIA
APPLICATION FOR OBSOLETE PROPERTY REHABILITATION
EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE – 322 and 324 W MAIN STREET
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT a Public Hearing will be held before the Ionia City Council on July 2, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Ionia City Hall, 114 South Kidd Street, Ionia, on the application by Artichoke Investments, LLC for an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Exemption Certificate regarding real property located at 322 and 324 W Main Street, Ionia.
Following the public hearing, the City Council of the City of Ionia will consider taking action regarding the application. If approved, the certificate provides a property tax exemption for up to 12 years. The applicant intends to completely rehabilitate and reuse the building for first floor commercial and second floor residential use.
