Joe Lafler has been with the Ionia Department of Public Utilities for over 20 years. Joe started as a utility operator in July 2003 and was appointed as the director in August 2022. He holds a Class A Wastewater Certification with EGLE. Joe also holds a D-1 Limited Treatment Drinking Water Certification and an S-1 Distribution Drinking Water Certification with EGLE.
