Precia Garland began her career as Ionia's City Manager on March 1, 2021. Prior to coming to Ionia, Garland was county administrator for Missaukee County, executive director of the Munson Cadillac Hospital Foundation, and deputy city manager for the city of Cadillac. She possesses a Bachelor's degree in political science and economics and a Master's of Public Administration degree, both from Central Michigan University. Garland grew up in Ionia County and is also a proud graduate of Saranac Community Schools.
