Community Event Calendar Submission

  1. Community Event Calendar Submission Criteria

    To be considered for the City of Ionia’s Community Event Calendar, events must meet the following criteria:

    1. The event must be open to the general public, not limited to members or invitees only.
    2. The event must be hosted, sponsored, or organized by a nonprofit organization. Exceptions for events hosted by other entities may be granted at the City of Ionia's discretion.
    3. If the event involves fundraising, some proceeds must benefit a nonprofit organization. Events intended to benefit individuals or for-profit entities are not eligible.
    4. Events should contribute to the cultural, recreational, educational, or well-being of the community.
    5. Event details must be submitted with accurate information and at least a week in advance of the event date.
